Munich Aerospace is a bavarian research and innovation network, dedicated to the exchange of ideas between research, teaching, politics, and business.
Since 2016, Munich Aerospace coordinates the RLS-Global Aerospace Campus. Within this programme, scientists and experts exchange ideas on global challenges related to aviation. The platform combines an international conference series as well as online courses for aerospace students and professionals, e.g. the Massive Open Online Course "Digitalisation in Aeronautics and Space" on Coursera.
The RLS-Global Aerospace Campus grew out of the Regional Leaders' Summit (RLS), an international political forum of the seven partner regions Bavaria (Germany), Québec (Canada), Georgia (USA), São Paulo (Brazil), Upper Austria, Western Cape (South Africa) and Shandong (China).
On October 14, five leading scientists from the Technical University of Munich, Concordia University Montréal, Georgia Institute of Technologie, University of São Paulo and Bauhaus Luftfahrt come together to share their ideas on "Advanced Air Mobility: Ecological, Social and Economic Challenges of Aerial Mobility of the Future". The event is kindly supported by the Bavarian Research Alliance (BayFOR) and RLS-Sciences.
